Ted and Mary Louise Osler

 Ted grew‑up at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Oaklyn, NJ with Pastors Rev. Bruce DuVall (Percy Crawford’s brother‑in‑law) and Rev. Larry Dunn.

 Ted became a Christian at a Spurlows Concert at Emmanuel in 1962.

The Oslers have two daughters: Stacey and Kelly. The family moved to Walla Walla, Washington in 1981. Ted became an Associate Pastor at the First Church of God (Minister of Music) and Mary Louise went to Nursing School.

   The family moved back to NJ in 1984. Ted served as Associate Pastor at the Highland Park Church of God in Gloucester City (youth pastor and music) while attending Seminary. Mary Louise started at Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ.

 While still in Seminary (Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, PA ‑ Ted earned his Masters of Divinity in 1990) Ted served as Pastor at Marshall Memorial United Methodist Church in Woodlynne, NJ 1987 ‑ 1994. Then 1994 – 2005 Pastor Ted served 11 years at First United Methodist Church of Delran, NJ.

Ted and Mary then came to Cape May Court House: First Church. 
Ted and Mary have been serving at New Hope United Methodist Church since July 1, 2016.  Ted has a clear vision for the future of the church.
Pastor Rich Miles

Rich and Sandy Miles

 Pastor Rich Miles was appointed to New Hope UMC July 1, 2015.  Rich serves as a visitation Pastor for our homebound.
Prior to serving at New Hope, he served several churches in the Greater NJ Conference.
Pastor Wilbert Frazer

Wilbert and Lea Frazer

 Pastor Wilbert Frazer served New Hope as interim Pastor from September 2015 to January 2016.  He now preaches once a month at New Hope.  He can be found assisting during most services.
Prior to serving at New Hope, he was appointed to Newport UMC.
Richard Hinckley

Office Manager

 Rich volunteers as the. Office Manager two days a week.   He can be located in the “office trailer” on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  If you need to reach the office, please use the above email address.
Jean Pianin     


 Jean Pianin has been playing for New Hope UMC for several years.  Jean plays for two churches each Sunday morning. 
Walter Hider  


Walt has been Sexton of New Hope years since its inception and of 2nd United Methodist Church for many years before that.  He is a devoted servant of the Church and gives of himself far beyond  his duties as Sexton.
